It was a fantastic achievement and the players were presented medals and the shield by Mary Harper and David Coyte, the LTA Surrey representatives.
Attached are pictures of the winners with their coach James Kober.

Also on Sunday, December 4th, Jamie Kober played his first U18 Grade 5 tennis tournament and reached the final at Virgin Active, Northwood which was an incredible feat as Jamie is only 13 and was playing against players 4 years older than himself and he came away with 3 huge wins before being overpowered in the final.

Last month Jamie also won an U14 Grade 4 tournament  at Teddington which was again a major win for this promising youngster!
Congrats Jamie!!!

Ham & Petersham Aegon Teams Summer 2017:

H&P have an unprecedented 8 junior teams competing in the Surrey Aegon Summer League 2017.
Currently the U12 Boys, U16 Boys, U18 Boys & U16 Girls top their groups with the U14 Boys & U14 Girls in 2nd spots as well.
So far it has been a highly successful season and we look forward to reporting on more progress in the coming months.
Remember, you can go to the booking page to check out when some of these talented junior teams are playing their home matches (normally on Saturday or Sunday afternoons) and they would love to have you come out and support them!

Road To Wimbledon 2017:

This is a prestigious U14 event which culminates in the winners being able to compete on the hallowed grass courts of Wimbledon!
The club are holding their boys and girls tournaments in the upcoming weeks but Grey Court School have already held theirs and Ham & Petersham junior members have had considerable success.
H&P member, Charlie Kober won the boys event defeating another H&P member, Archie Doe, in the final and our own Lois Hunt was the runner-up in the girls event.
Good luck to Charlie who moves on to the county finals.

We are also very happy to have strong ties with the local school systems.
James Kober, our "head of performance training", runs after school programmes at The Russell School, The Vineyard, The German School and Grey Court School which gives us greater feeder opportunities to add to our own junior programmes and to increase our membership base while also attracting some of the junior players’ parents to the club!
